I absolutely love being a mom. My kids crack me up basically every single day!! Here is my latest hilarious story:
Yesterday Payton got his bottom spanked and told "NO!" because he kept trying to stick something in the light socket. As soon as I swatted Payton's rear end, Tucker stomped his foot and yelled, "MOMMY!"
So I turned to look at him and he pointed down the hallway and said, "I ow!" I looked at him funny and said huh?!
And he repeated, "I OW NOW!"
I laughed and said, "Time out now?"
"Ya!"
I was sent to time out by my 3 year old. Pathetic right? So to encourage good behavior from Tucker when he gets sent to time out, I went to my bedroom, and Tucker shut the door behind me....and held the door handle until he felt I should come out of time out. He left me in there for a little over a minute then opened the door and looked at me, and said, "Mommy?"
I said, "I won't do it again, I'm sorry."
He cracks me up and I couldn't be happier to be his mommy... even if he sends me to time out!

*Lately...*
I've been suck a total slacker lately!! I haven't posted anything forever...so I'm just going to throw down a brief summary of what's been going on in our world lately! No pictures today... soon though, I promise!
1) My little Tucker finished his first year (well, 3 months) of pre-school! I can't even believe my baby is old enough to be in pre-school! He starts again in August, probably going 4 days a week though, aahhh!!! I think it will be so great for him though. He made so much progress in the 3 months he was there that I think he'll be speaking crazy long sentences by next summer! He is super into Kung Fu lately, major thanks to Kung Fu Panda. He spreads his legs and squats a little and starts punching and doing crazy leg kicks. It's adorable! He also walked up to the bathtub the other day while Payton was in it and dumped his bowl of goldfish in the water. I said, "Tucker Allen!" and he held his arms out and says, "But mom!" Like, Duh mom, that's where the fish belong! He's no dumby! He's such a great helper these days as well. He will throw stuff in the garbage for me, pick up toys, and he likes to "help" cook.
2) My little Payton, now he is a little spitfire. He has the cutest personality! He can cry, scream, laugh and run all at once. He is so fun! His favorite game is to have daddy go hide down the dark hallway and he'll go down there all tough and as soon as daddy jumps out he runs so fast! More like, his arms move really fast, his legs don't go to quick though! Then when he's back in the safety of moms sight, he starts talking crap down the hallway to dad. Like, "Ya... I'm not scared of you!!!" It's hilarious!! His new favorite thing to do is to throw eggs on the floor...ooo how I love cleaning that mess up! His eczema is slowly getting better. He had a really bad spell not too long ago. I ended up taking him to the E.R. because it freaked me out so bad. It turned out to be a super infection (an infection on top of an infection I guess). Poor little guy! He doesn't let it get in the way of him having fun though! What a trooper!
3) Ty is still working like mad at Les Schwab. He's been told many times (by co-workers, assistant manager, store manager, AND area manager) that he is the hardest working employee they've seen in a long time. That is such a huge compliment! Love it! He is planning on going hunting again this fall with his dad and brother. Woo hoo (I wish you could hear my sarcasm).
4) Me, well I'm just being a mom and working, like usual! I got laid off from the bank at the end of March (sad day!) and got hired at Syringa Wireless not even 2 weeks later (happy day!). I LOVE my job..occasionaly there is a crazy, cranky, irate customer, but that spices things up right? On my days off I am busy trying to catch up on housework, but prefer just spending the time with my babies!
5) We have the most beautiful new neice in the world!!! Alma was born on June 15th. She has the most beautiful eyes, lips, nose.... lets just sum it up and say she is BEAUTIFUL!! We also have a nephew on the way. Nikki (my sis in law) is having a little boy in October. The Olsen family needs to be graced with a little baby girls presence! I don't see that happening any time soon thought.
6) and last but not least.... we are buying our first house this month!!! Yay!!!!!! It has been a long, perilous journey (K... I don't even know what that means hahaha) but we are closing either Monday or Tuesday (keep your fingers crossed that it happens this time!). We found our dream house in May and our offer was accepted. It is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home. Upstairs has a gorgeous river rock fireplace with hardwood floor throughout the living room and hallway. Our kitchen is smaller than our current kitchen, but I can deal with that. The basement has a huge family room and a playroom, along with a storage room, a 3/4 finished bedroom, and room for a bathroom. I can't even tell you how much I LOVE this house! There is a glass door from the dining room onto a nice large deck (with a porch swing! yay) that leads down into our beautiful large yard. We have a cherry tree and an apple tree along with a huge garden along the back of our yard. There is also room for us to build a large firepit area behind our garage. Tyler is most excited about the shop and having a yard to mow! I'm excited.... well I'm just plain excited to own my own home!!!! Let the fun begin! We will be having lots of BBQ's so come on by!
That's all for now.... I will post pictures soon... I promise!
Lots of love:

Payton
I'm feeling a little guilty that I haven't posted anything about Payton. So, this is a post all for Payton! He is the funniest little guy in the world. He is very hands-on and into EVERYTHING. He can't walk past anything without touching it at least once. He loves to play and follow his big brother around everywhere. They get into a lot of trouble together :). I love these pictures. Payton got into the hot pot holder drawer and thought they were hilarious. He played for probably 45 minutes with the hot pot holder! He's such a smiley boy, very rarely does he not have a smile for everyone!
Pre-School
So as you all know... Tucker started pre-school on March 11th. It was the most devastating day of my life!! He cried and screamed and cried some more! He was not happy when I tried to put him down and it broke my heart. I don't know who cried harder, him or me! By the time I picked him up at 10:30 (he goes at 8a.m!) he was having a much better time. So Friday, I sent him on the bus! This was even more devastating for Mom...although at drop-off time the driver informed me as soon as I stepped away, he was perfectly contect looking out the window. His teacher, Sally McHargue, also called me to tell me he did much better than Wednesday. Needless to say, I was unable to get any good "1st day of school" pictures. He has horribly sad faces in every single one. So instead, we have "1st pre-school craft" pictures!

Friday he got home and all day kept digging in his backpack. Friday evening he finally found what he'd been looking for, his dinosaur necklace! This week has been dinosaur week and he made a necklace with foam shapes, beads, and dinosaur beads. He was VERY proud of himself. He has worn in constantly (except bedtime of course) since he found it! And of course, he has his horses in his hands. Very rarely do we see Tucker without horses or cars. :)

Tucker's 3rd Birthday
We enjoy our little themed birthday parties oh so much!! Tucker's 1st birthday was a dump truck party, 2nd birthday was a horse party & this year we had a race car party. It was very fun. We had a finish flag/winner circle birthday cake...it was pretty cute...and the boys definatley enjoyed it!
Tucker got lots of fun stuff! G-pa and G.G were pretty sad they couldn't give him the trampoline they bought for him (unfortunatley it was strictly for exercise purposes only...wierd). So he got a fun "Cars" domino game instead. Aunt Karla and Uncle Mel gave him a super cute new school outfit and socks...my favorite part!! Aunt Mandie gave him a cool dart bean bag toss game for the yard. I'm not sure what Aunt Darci got because I didn't get to the post office in time to get it:) But we'll see soon enough! He also got some cars...so here he is with all of his cars organizing them... he does that so well!!
I can't believe my baby is THREE!!! He starts pre-school on Wednesday...so be watching for pictures of his 1st day of school...aaahhh!
